George P. Cerniglia, DDS, APDC
Since graduating from LSU School of Dentistry in 1986, Dr. George Cerniglia has been practicing as a General Dentist in Metairie, Louisiana. Dr. Cerniglia started his own practice in 1989, and has moved to his present location on Houma Blvd. in 1996. Dr. Cerniglia prides himself in providing dentistry as he would like for himself and his family. When you enter the practice you will feel as though you belong to a dental family. The office will make you feel at home, while providing a clean, safe, and cozy environment. Whether it is the fountains, aromatherapy, temperpedic pillows, televisions in the treatment rooms, Dr. Cerniglia takes great pride in the way he pampers and treats his patients.

Dr. Cerniglia is also a past President of the LSUSD Alumni Association.
Dr. Cerniglia was recently voted one of America’s Top Dentist, nationally, and was listed as one the Top Dentist, voted by his peers, and featured in the March Issue of New Orleans Magazine in 2009.
Dr. Cerniglia averages over 85 hours of continuing education each year. The State requirement is 21 hours a year. The extra time shows Dr. Cerniglia’s commitment to being the best dentist he can be. This also helps him keep up with the latest technology in dentistry. This is reflected in his High Tech dental office which includes: Digital Radiography, CEREC Computerized Dentistry ( which allows Dr. Cerniglia to create a crown or veneer same day in his office in under 2 hours), Laser Dentistry, Full Computer integration, Digital imaging, Advanced Zoom Whitening, Kor Deep Bleaching, Fresh Breath Therapy, and Laser Dentistry ( for treating teeth and gums).
Dr. Cerniglia is married to his wife, Lisa, of over 23 years, and they have four children. Dr. Cerniglia loves to spend his free time with his family, working in his garden, playing tennis, and spending time with Gracie, his Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Dr. Cerniglia is an Extraordinary Minister at St. Ann Church, and is a Co-Captain of Group 37 with the Men of Manresa.
Dr. Shannon Doyle
Dr. Shannon Doyle is a 2009 graduate of Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. She is a 2000 alum of Dominican High School and received her BS degree from the University of New Orleans before attending Dental School. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association and the New Orleans Dental Association. She is also an active member of the Give Kids a Smile Campaign, as she really enjoys working with children.
Dr. Doyle is married to Ross Doyle and they have two young daughters, Cameron and Taylor. She enjoys traveling along with camping, biking, skiing, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Doyle's arrival will allow us to expand our office hours to include Fridays and an additional Saturday. This will allow patients greater access to their dental needs.
